This started off as an A-6 Intruder, but then I left the mostly-completed kit in the sun and it melted. Had this old (1979) Matchbox 1/72 Prowler in stash, close enough. As usual, craftstore acrylic paints mostly brushed on by hand. Masking the dark-brown bits done with local (Ecuador) Play-Doh knockoff. Weathering with finger-applied pastels. Decals from the discard collection. They don't really go together, but I like the look. I left the refueling boom off of the nose. I can't stand that clunky thing.

F4-U Corsair
Revell's primeval (1970) 1/32 Corsair. Dark blue topsides are airbrushed Testor's Enamel Blue. Middle blue is a mix of craftstore acrylic Midnight Blue and White. Undersides are local spraycan Flat White. Wheel wells' Zinc Chromate Yellow is craftstore acrylic Spanish Olive. Such a pretty thing.
