This year I lost 4 classes to Wednesday conflicts (e.g. Dec 8), so I dropped 5 classes on the 10 commandments. I won't speed up an already brisk curriculum: I drop stuff that I expect they'll get before or after. I preserve what I think they will only get in this class: a comprehensive Catholic trip thru the Bible; and how the Mass springs from the Bible.

Hey speaking of props, this may suit you:

http://platytera.blogspot.com/2009/05/whole-lotta-props.htmlkkollwitzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17691145638703824456noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8216919512961858215.post-5425558798634478392010-11-22T22:14:33.623-05:002010-11-22T22:14:33.623-05:00Wow - you have serious skills. Props.

Totally agree with what you're saying and I generally teach the same way - at the same time, there's a lot of stuff my current students are going to miss out on because I've let us get "behind." Like, I dunno, the New Testament. And they always start out the year asking about Revelation and I say, "we will get to that," and then...we don't.

Do you have a year or a semester for your class? The information would be good for adults, too. The picture of the fairy circle is very interesting. We have lots of toadstools when it's hot and human but nothing comes up in a fairy circle. And it's true that one doctrine always leads to another, and if one doctrine were ever cancelled, all the truth would fail.
